I really have to thank EVERYONE who came out on Feb 9th for an unforgettable night of poetry, song and discussion. It really was a memorable night. I am toying with the idea of doing it again, so stay tuned. I was especially surprised at the turnout considering there were no flyers, and promotion was solely done through emails, texts and word of mouth. So, thank you, thank you, thank you to ALL the artists that performed. J'nay, AmeN NoiR, OneNess and the whole Best Kept Secret, Michelle Escoffery, Dave Austin and not forgetting Kevin Mark Trail, to our two panelists, Hakim and Emma.. to all the volunteers, to the contributors on the album and most importantly EVERYONE WHO CAME THROUGH...
